Today is 8. 16 by lunar calendar that the moon is best round day, we decided to take night photo and brought us big gain.
!3:00 Road to Shenyang. Train 2017 18:58 to Mudianjiang
There are 2 coal mines in Muleng area: 1) Pinggang 2) Qikeng
Steam to Pinggang is tender first, but in Pinggang mine shunting is Engine first. Steam to Qikeng, about 1.5km to station there is Y line and tender first change loco, Engine first to Qikeng.Only 35km from Muleng to Hengshan of Jixi.

Oct 10 Cloudy and rain, south station
South station also called Nanchang, this place is for staff get water, load coal, take out ash and preparation. Between 05:30---08:00 all locos will stay here and do service, then go to Chengzihe station.

Chengzihe east station is also called Dongchang, 08:00---09:00 locos from Chengzihe go to every coal mine for working.
In the morning before 08:00 and night before 20:00, so all locos every day work 12 hours here.
SY 1058, 1437, 1544, 1351, 0237, 0863, 0590, 0733 in steam.
At noon start to rain, we had to come back to hotel for rest.
Oct 11 Cloudy and fine, Hengshan station(Xinzhan).
SY 0898 SY 1369, 0746, 0804, 1095, 0341, 1340 in steam.
SY 0746 08:20 took some empty coach to Lijing.
SY 0898 0898 09:25 light engine to Lixin.
SY 0804 09:35 + 0341 (pusher) coal train,from Zhangxin back to Xinzhan and tender first .
SY 1369+1095 (pusher) 13:30 Zhongxin to Zhangxin, after they got to Zhangxin SY 1369 14:05 with some empty coach to Ronghua mine.

After 14:30, no train from Xinzhan go to every coal mine, but the train will be back to Xinzhan from every coal mine.

Oct 12 Fine and cloudy, snow.
SY 0863: 08:50 with empty coach to coal washery.
SY 0590 shunting in Xinghua coal mine.
10:30 start to snow, after lunch we went to coal washery and internet caf¨¦.

Oct 13 Fine south station , Chengzihe---hengshan---Didao, due to Huanan front loader was broken,
so we must stay at Jixi one more day.

SY 1369+0804 to zhongxin at 9:18
SY 1340 13:05 tender first left Zhangxin to Center station, if there is 10 coal coach and they will make pusher work.
Didao SY 1446, 1213, 0950, 1205 in steam,0407 was checking.
SY was working in Didao.
Oct 14 Rain and Fine, Huanan
I have half year didn¡¯t come to Huanan. There is something was changed, RAILWAY FORSET COMPANY at the end of Sep move out original track place for get water, take out ash, this work move to workshop¡¯s yard. Now here become real shed, get water, load coal, check loco and store.
Only one line from shed to station.

Coal loader broken time: Oct 9 afternoon---Oct 13, But bad news: Coal loader just half day working and broken again, so original train to coal mine has to delay. Only C2 21043 was working in the morning 9:50---11:20 in the station about 0ne and half hours.

Also we didn¡¯t get permit to visit shed.
Due to Huanan situation, we must to change our plan and tomorrow go to Hegang.
Oct 15 Fine, Hegang, Jiamusi---Haerbin---Manzhouli,
4:30 left Huanan to Hegang.

10 SY in steam, SY 3023, SY 555, SY 0683 is cold loco and parking in shed.
SY 1498 bring passenger from Fuli coal mine to Jipei at 07:44
N8 13:37 Jiamusi---Haerbin 19:31, then go to No 5 platform change N91 20:00 to Manzhouli.
Oct 16 Fine, Hailaer---Zhalainuoer
when we woke up, train already went into Hailaer area, there is snow during last night, snow cover land is white colour and very beautiful Hulunbeier Grassland.
10:21 train arrived at Manzhouli station, after check in hotel then we went to Zhalainoer open cast
coal mine, about 40 SY worked here, it is so beautiful. In this world, where you can still see that 22 SY loco work on one pit at same time? If we called Jitong Railway is QJ world, so here---Zhalainuoer open cast coal mine is SY heaven.

Oct 17 Cloudy and clear, Zhalainoer.
Morning sun rise, it is really to make people excited, but we can not catch some good picture due to heavy cloud.

In the morning we look around big pit. After lunch we visited workshop: SY 0471, 1193, 1650, 1416 was repaired here. SY 1416 loco very interesting, his decoration looks like QJ.
At 15:30, we came back to big pit, weather became better now, sun set photo also let us very happy.
Suggestion: Night picture.
Oct 18 Cloud, Manzhouli.
The weather was not good, we decided to visit border view, Manzhouli is JF 1861 stop here, it is with history means loco: 1949.12. 9 Maozedong special train first went to broad with JF 1861 haul.

Oct 19 Rain and clear, Meihekou.
06:22 to Liping, after breakfast road to Meihekou and check in hotel, then went to Hongqi town No 1 mine station. SY 1216, 0791, 1662 in steam. SY 1564 was checking.
Passenger train haul by Dongfanghong 4010.
Coal train by No 1 coal mine station to HeishanTou national railway Engine first, but all the way is down hill and tender first back No 1 coal station is up hill, it is no interesting so we give up here and decided take train photo from No 4---No1---No2---No6---No3.
SY 1216 is my favourite loco one of SY loco.
When sun set we catch very nice picture.
Oct 20 Fine, Meihekou---Shenyang---Beijing.
We got up at 05:00 in the morning, 05:30 check out and went to Hongmei Town and take photo there, this is very nice morning, we caught some very satisfaction photo.
06:00 SY 1662, 0791 shunting in station.
06:55 SY 1662 bring coal train to Heishantou.
07:20 SY 1216 from No2 to station, after preparation at 08:10 bring coal train to Heishantou, at 09:35 back to station, then to 2 Jing, at 11:00 back to station again. At 11:12 SY 1662 bring long empty wagon to No 3 coal mine, on the way to No2 coal mine load down some empty wagon and continue to No3 coal mine, at 11:55 back.We followed SY 1662 to No3 coal mine all the way photography. At 13:00 we left Meihekou to Shenyang.
Australia friends Tim Arnot, Adrian by flight to Beijing, I and Kink Markus to Shenyang station by train to Beijing, so we finished this great trip.
I am really hope Meihekou steam keep longer, but now i get very bad news about Meihekou, they will change 2 or 3 diesels in this year Dec.
